Description
Teenager Johnny Powers visits GE's High Voltage Laboratory in Pittsfield, MA with his brother Ed, a GE engineer and witnesses a demonstration of GE's 10-million volt lightning generator. While driving in a storm, their route is blocked by a downed tree and power lines. Ed uses the experience to teach Johnny about the operation of utilities and power networks.
